Sanjeev Parmanand

Research Advisor, Government Policy & Behavioral Economics

Sanjeev is an Economist in the Strategy Economics and Results Group under the Philippines' Department of Finance (DOF). During his time at the DOF, he worked with consultants from the World Bank and the USAID to conduct a cost-benefit analysis which measured the impact of corporate income tax incentives on the Philippine economy as part of the country’s tax reform initiative.

Apart from fiscal analysis, he also does projects focusing on time-series econometrics and impact evaluation methods. He holds a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Economics from De La Salle University – Manila. Prior to his tenure at the DOF, he did internships for the Department of Labor and Employment, Bridge-Microsoft, and Nestle Philippines Inc.
