Vince Nieva

Research Advisor, Cities & Behavioral Economics

Vince is doing his Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning (UP SURP). He has extensive volunteer work in the Philippines, as he is currently a volunteer researcher for a local advocacy organization called AltMobility PH, which advocates for commuter rights, active mobility and sustainable transportation. At the same time, he is a Manila Ambassador for the Youth 4 Sustainable Cities (Y4SC) program by an international organization, MakeSense, where he has facilitated a social enterprise workshop, and participated in a fundraising project to help social enterprises supporting COVID-19 frontliners.

He is also an active members in another international organization called World Youth Alliance (WYA), where he has completed internship programs in the Asia-Pacific and European offices, and represented the organization in conferences held at the United Nations and the European parliament. The WYA is a global coalition of young people committed to promoting the dignity of the person and building solidarity among youth from developed and developing nations,

He holds a bachelor's degree in Diplomacy and International Relations, with specialization in East and Southeast Asian Studies from the Ateneo de Manila University.
